Summer School Holidays Parcels
Over the past few weeks CFB and its team of volunteers have successfully partnered with Clarendon primary (Haywood Park), St. James, Atherton High, Harper Green, Pikes Lane, St. Paul’s in delivering a total of 135 food parcels.
Collaborating with the schools, CFB were able to pre-determine dietary needs for the recipients, prepare parcels accordingly and deliver them accordingly. Families and children in need of aid were identified by the schools and food requirements were shared with the CFB.
CFB continues to deliver parcels to those in poverty and we greatly appreciate the generosity shown by the community donors and volunteers. With the support of our community CFB were able to pack and who responded in the weeks prior to the summer holidays in donating large quantities of products. It is with your collective help CFB continues to distribute food parcels to those in need. Step by step we hope to continue this initiative and encourage local schools to contact us if you feel your students and families would be given succour by such a partnership.
Alongside these parcels, toys part of our Eid-ul-Adha Toys Donation Drive were also distributed to children at school and those receiving our parcels. You can read more about that here. We would also like to thank all of our corporate partners who sponsored these parcels and our ongoing activities.
Just want to say a massive thank you to you and your team! You guys are amazing and are making a massive difference to those families struggling in Bolton.Rachel Burke – Pikes Lane
